From idea to journey

From the first story to a living digital trail.

We guide you through the whole process – from understanding the place and preparing the content through to designing the interactive map, launch, promotion and long-term development.

Collaboration step by step

How do we create a trail that truly comes alive?

The individual phases follow one another, but they are not a rigid process. Depending on how ready the project is, we can combine, adapt or expand them.

  1. 01

    Initial consultation

    We agree on your goals

First we get to know the location, the target visitors and your expectations. Together we define the scope of the trail, the themes, the way people will move through the area and the goals against which we will measure success.

    • Understanding the place and its story
    • Defining visitors and goals
    • Defining the scope and next steps
  2. 02

    Content and materials

    We prepare the content

We gather available texts, photographs, archive materials and map data. We adapt the materials for reading on site, prepare translations and suggest where audio or other multimedia content would help.

    • Texts, photographs and historical materials
    • Routes, maps and points of interest
    • Translations, audio and multimedia
  3. 03

    Solution design

    We create the trail

We turn stories and places into a clear interactive map. We design the structure of the stops, the user journeys and the visual style so that technology supports the experience rather than getting in the way.

    • Information architecture of the trail
    • Responsive design for different devices
    • Connecting map, content and navigation
  4. 04

    Launch

    We launch online

We test the finished trail on a phone, tablet and computer and prepare it for real-world use. Once approved, we publish it at its own address and help with QR codes and entry points in the location.

    • Testing content and controls
    • Deployment and technical security
    • Preparing QR codes and promotion
  5. 05

    Operation and promotion

    We grow together

The project does not end after launch. We help present the trail to the public, continuously evaluate how it is used and plan further content, stops or themed routes.

    • Support with the trail launch
    • Recommendations for project communication
    • Developing content based on feedback
  6. 06

    Long-term development

    We keep improving

We regularly improve the platform and individual trails. Content can be added to, updated and expanded with new languages, features and stories so that the project remains alive and useful.

    • Ongoing updates and care
    • New features and language versions
    • Partnership for further development
